Background, mission and goals
Mission To render consultancy and research services to clients in the energy sector. Outputs should add value to client activities, and contribute to a more sustainable future. Particular focus areas are: - Rural and low-income urban energy service delivery and policy
- Sustainable energy at a range of levels (small and large scale)
- Productive use
Vision To be a leading energy consultancy, which influences energy policy and implementation practice and helps create and support sustainable business models, delivery methods, usage practices and technical solutions which improve the quality of life of beneficiaries. The company will have core assets in systems and intellectual property, highly skilled personnel and a track record of excellent work done for a range of clients.
Our vision is to assist rural communities to gain access to improved energy services (for thermal, lighting, entertainment, productive and communications applications) in an environmentally and financially sustainable manner. In so doing we contribute to socio-economic development in poor rural communities.
